Active Adults
The following programs are tailored to the 55+ community within Ashburn Village. In addition to the programs listed below, our Group Exercise classes (click here for the current schedule) are also suitable for active adults by adjusting the intensity of exercise. Feel free to talk to the instructor before class for guidance.
Facility Orientations
Free orientations are available with AVSP Personal Trainers. The orientations cover the correct use of all equipment in the facility and any other questions or concerns you might have when exercising.

Yoga Strength
Learn basic yoga poses while enjoying total mind/body wellness.
Day: Monday

Aqua Exercise
Total body workout with no stress on the joints.
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
Times: 9:15am (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)
7:10pm (Tuesday)
Beginner Mat Pilates
Pilates Mat exercises focusing on core muscles, strengthening and stretching.
Day: Thursday
Time: 7:15pm
Active Adult Water Aerobics
Water based class; stretching and working of each joint, upper body strength training, leg strength training, cardiovascular work done at each participant’s own pace, and cool down stretching.
Days: Tuesday-Thursday

Water Recess
Have fun, socialize and workout in this energetic class.
Day: Thursday

Table Tennis
A perfect activity for everyone! Equipment is provided and setup on the racquetball courts.
Days: Monday, Wednesday & Saturday
Times: 1-3pm (Monday & Wednesday)
2-4pm (Saturday)
